Last week Bruce Berry and I went to a meeting of the Wirral Pedestrians Association.  This is an organisation that tries and alleviate the many problems pedestrians have on the roads.  They campaign for safety and convenience for walkers, runners, wheelchair and motobility scooter users, and really any pedestrian.

Some recent campaigns have included 20mph zones and illegal parking on pavements.  The association liaise keenly with Wirral Borough Council and Merseyside Police.
