Claire House Abseil

Today I was at Leasowe Lighthouse, Moreton Shore for the Claire House Charity Abseil.  Just in case you’re looking for pictures of me mid flight, I will quickly add I was there purely watching and supporting.  Over 50 people completed the descent and a lot of  money was raised for Claire House.

The event was graced by the attendance of The Mayor and Mayoress of Wirral, Councillor Alan Jennings and Mrs Cath Jennings. I tried to talk them into abseiling but to no avail, but Alan has completed a charity abseil before.  Kath is hoping to do a charity “hot coals walk” later in the year for Claire House.

For once the weather was fantastic which helped to attract a large crowd.  Thanks to all the helpers and volunteers from Claire House who once again have raised much needed funds for less fortunate children.
