I have had a busy few days with Christmas Fundraisers.  Friday evening with Councillor Chris Blakeley I attended Foxfield Christmas Fair. It was well supported and we tried various stalls. I didn’t win the draw this time, but did manage to win a bottle of lemonade on the tombola.

Saturday was the Wallasey Conservative Associations’ Christmas lunch hosted by Councillor Karen Hayes.  This entailed sandwiches, mince pies with tea or coffee. We even had a game of bingo, which surprised me, as I got quite into it,  ‘sweating’ on one number!

The highlight of this event was Leah Fraser announcing that having consulted with solicitors, she had receieved an apology from the Wallasey Labour Party for being misleading and highly offensive towards her in the run up to the General election.  Leah’s report on this can be found here.

Saturday afternoon, again with Chris Blakeley I attended Christchurch Primary School’s Christmas Fair.  This too was well attended with the stalls, Grotto and coffee bar all doing very well.
