The second meeting I attended last night was the Birds & Trees Residents Association at St. Mary’s Church Centre, with Councillor Chris Blakeley.  The meeting was well attended and we welcomed a new secretary, Dave Berry. Dave is already updating communications within the group by starting a web site and developing electronic information distribution.

A few residents spoke on the ongoing problems regarding the Dairy on Saughall Massie Road. Speeding was another hot issue and Constable Roger Hatton informed that group that they had been addressing the problem and 42 speeding tickets had been issued in April.  Litter is another topic that many are having problems with. Reported Crime figures for the area are continuing to be quite good. Cllr Blakeley and I have noted all the concerns and will advise and assist if we can.
