I think many people will be glad that the election is finally over.  I would like to thank everybody that took the time to vote, and particularly those who voted Conservative in our ward, re-electing my colleague Simon Mountney. Together with Simon and Chris Blakeley I will continue to fight for what the people of  Moreton West & Saughall Massie need, and of course, oppose what the people don’t need!

A sadder note is the great loss of Councillors Leah Fraser and Bill Duffey in Liscard and New Brighton repectively.  They were excellent councillors and did fantastic work for their communities.  Both were an enormous help and encouragement to me personally when I was campaigning for my first election last year and I thank them both.

Looking on the positive side however, we have gained four new conservative councillors in Hoylake, Greasby,  Pensby, and Clatterbridge.

With the election over we now have to work on a number of ongoing local issues and a few new ones needing consideration.  I will keep reporting any relevant information here and of course, I am always available to discuss any concern anyone may have, that I may be able to assist with.
