Having a hectic time at the moment.  Yesterday afternoon I went to Lingham School with Leah Fraser, Jackie Foster MEP and other councillors, where we distributed leaflets, chatted to parents and gave balloons to the children.

In the evening Leah Fraser and I visited the Moreton Evening Ladies meeting at the Methodist Church.  Leah spoke about how she came to politics, and then there were questions and answers on international, national and local issues.  A very interesting evening.

This afternoon with Cllr Simon Mountney I attended the police Neighbourhood Action Group at Eastway Community Centre.  The meeting was led by Inspector Peter Kolokotroni.

This is a group that includes local police, councillors, community leaders, neighbourhood watch leaders, resident association leaders and officers from the council.  It was very lively with various local issues being brought up, and action plans formulated to try and sort out the matters.

After that Simon and I went to our campaign headquarters and collected the latest edition of our ‘Newslines’ and are currectly getting them out to our deliverers.  I believe it’s going to be a busy weekend as well. Got my holiday at the right time!
