Well, after 2 months of knocking on doors and delivering leaflets telling the residents of Moreton East & Leasowe how good it would be to get Ian Lewis back as their councillor, the hard work has paid off. On Thursday the by-election was held and Ian was elected. Despite the ward being historically held by Labour, Ian again beat the Labour candidate, and is already working on issues for residents in the ward.
Also the night was a double win for Conservatives, as Kathy Hodson pictured here with Ian, won the Heswall by-election and is now a Ward Councillor there. An excellent result and one that I was glad to be part of.
